Maelstrom II Rescue Spacecraft Design - Starting Model

Dear Maelstrom II consultants and friends,

Jon Varner has volunteered to start building the take 3 version at the
top of the page.

I am trying to find that balance between a utilitarian and aesthetically
pleasing design.

Our goal is to inspire the next generation of real world spacecraft
designers to push the boundaries.

As discussed with NASA Ames Jay Trimble, imagine if it were designed by
a private design company.
e.g. what would a spacecraft look like if the design team at Apple
designed it, or Ferrari?

Please let us know what you think, as we can make modifications (within
reason) as we go.
